EUMA`s Twitter posts become subject of memes in Armenian segment of  social networks

ArmInfo.The Twitter posts of the EU Civil Mission in Armenia (EUMA) have become subject of memes in the Armenian segment of social networks.

Earlier, EUMA in its microblog on Twitter posted a screenshot of the  post of the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense of the  Republic of Armenia Aram Torosyan about the shelling marked 'FAlSE',  and wrote the following text.

"No EUMA patrol has been the target of shooting. We patrol alongside  the Armenian- Azerbaijani border areas and report to and report to  Brussels on military developments, including shooting incidents in  our area of responsibility," the mission said.

A few minutes after this post, a video was spread on the Internet, in  which a European observer tells from which side their car was  targeted.

Once the video has been shared on social media, EUMA deleted their  previous Twitter post with the following text:

"CORRECTING STATEMENT: We confirm that EUMA patrol has been present  to the shooting incident in our area of responsibility.  No EUMA  member was harmed."

Earlier today, at around 3:00p.m.,  the Armenian Defense Ministry  reported that on August 15, at around 12:20 p.m., Azerbaijani AF  units discharged fire from fire arms targeting the EU observers  patrolling in the vicinity of Verin Shorzha and their vehicle.
