Russian peacekeepers are actively involved in resolving issue of  sending a humanitarian convoy to Nagorno-Karabakh - Russian Foreign  Ministry

ArmInfo.Although the sending of a humanitarian convoy to Nagorno-Karabakh was not agreed with the Azerbaijani authorities, the Russian peacekeeping contingent actively joined in  the search for solutions and established constant contact with both  sides.

Maria Zakharova, the Director of the Information and Press  Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian  Federation, stated at a briefing answering the provocative question  of a News.ru journalist about "how the Russian side can help in the"  new scandal "between Yerevan and Baku, related to the sending of a  humanitarian convoy to Yerevan for Karabakh Armenians, without  agreeing with the Azerbaijani authorities. Meanwhile, when EU  observers were invited, accusations against Russian peacekeepers are  heard on the contrary.

Ignoring the thesis about EU observers, Zakharova noted that,  "against this background, we consider any accusations, in general,  against Russian peacekeepers as counterproductive, not reflecting the  real contribution of our peacekeepers to efforts to stabilize the  situation on the ground. Therefore, contacts have been established,  and I think they will give results>.
