ArmInfo. Unlike the West, Russia is looking for only a stable solution for the settlement of Yerevan-Baku relations. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Ryabkov stated.
"We are confident that reasonable politicians in Armenia and Azerbaijan take a responsible approach to the position promoted by the Russian Federation," Ryabkov noted, expressing confidence that Moscow's efforts would bring results and a settlement would be reached.
The official would not want anyone to see in Moscow's proposals an element of geopolitical rivalry with the West. According to TASS, he expressed his willingness to help the parties find a point where interests converge and where their result should be in the form of a binding agreement.
"Russia will continue to do everything possible to minimize the humanitarian consequences of any crisis," the diplomat said, adding that the possibilities are not unlimited.
