


ArmInfo.The European side donated 4 civilian drones to Armenia to support the strengthening of the intelligence and surveillance capabilities of the specialized services of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs in the fight against organized crime. This was reported by the press service of the French Embassy in Armenia.
The diplomatic mission informed that the donation process took place on July 13 this year with the participation of the French Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia Anne Louyot and the attach‚ for internal security in the South Caucasus Olivier Lefebvre with the support of the European Union Delegation to Armenia.
"The donation of equipment, funded by the European Commission (DG NEAR) and the European Police Agency (EUROPO Lunder the European program to combat organized crime in the Eastern Partnership region (including 6 Black Sea countries), is part of the cooperation activities carried out by the European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats (EMPACT) and its prioritized Organized Property Crime (OPC), which is managed by the French Ministry of the Interior with the support of the National Police and the Spanish Civil Guard.
