ArmInfo. Moscow supports any constructive mediation that leads to peace between Baku and Yerevan. This was stated by representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in response to a request to comment on the meeting of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, mediated by President of the European Council, Charles Michel, in Brussels, which is scheduled for July 15.
According to her, it is premature to draw any conclusions. "We support any constructive mediation that leads to the achievement of sustainable peace. Therefore, it is necessary to draw conclusions based on the results [of the meeting]," Zakharova said in response to a question from NEWS.ru.
It should be noted that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced today at a government meeting that on July 15, in Brussels, he will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev through the mediation of the head of the European Council.
