In NK negotiation process, there was an assumption that peacekeepers in conflict zone should not represent OSCE countries - Pashinyan

ArmInfo. In the negotiation process  on Nagorno- Karabakh there was an understanding, an assumption that  after the signing of conflict resolution principles, the peacekeepers  deployed, should not represent the OSCE countries. Prime Minister  Nikol Pashinyan stated on June 27 at a meeting of the Inquiry  Committee for Studying the Circumstances of the Hostilities Unleashed  on September 27, 2020 ( 44-day war).

, he said. 

He recalled that during the 44-day war there were talks about  deploying peacekeepers from the Scandinavian countries, in particular  from Sweden, in the conflict zone, which is very problematic in  practice.

At the same time, the Prime Minister draws attention to the fact that  all this does not eliminate the possibility that if the issue were on  the agenda of the UN Security Council, the body would not be able to  decide to send peacekeepers of any country or group of countries to  the Karabakh conflict zone.
