The second round of negotiations between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will begin on June 12 in Washington, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a meeting with the Armenian community of Moldova, referring to the five-sided meeting with the participation of the head of the European Council, the leaders of France, Germany and Azerbaijan (on the Armenian-Azerbaijani talks).
In addition, a meeting of the trilateral working group on opening regional communications will take place in Moscow on June 2.
Pashinyan also confirmed a meeting with Aliyev in Brussels on July 21 and an invitation to a five-sided meeting in Granada on October 5.
On June 1, a trilateral meeting of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was held in Chisinau, which lasted 10 minutes. Then they were joined by French President Emmanuel Macron, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Scholz. The meeting lasted about 1.5 hours.
During the meeting, issues related to the unblocking of the regional transport and economic infrastructure, work to ensure the security of the delimitation and demarcation of borders between the two countries, an agreement on the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the need to resolve the rights and security of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as related prisoners, missing persons and other humanitarian issues.
