ArmInfo.Russia is using all available tools to calm the situation both "on the ground" and  politically. Negotiations are underway at all levels.

This was stated on May 24 during a weekly briefing by the official representative of  the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in response to a  question whether the Russian side is considering a scenario for  leaving Armenia.  She noted that Moscow currently considers the  situation "on the ground" as those intermediary functions that the  country has.

"Meetings were held at the level of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia  and Azerbaijan with the mediation of Russia. These contacts continue  at all levels. And that is exactly the subject of our specific work,  moreover, in a number of areas and departments, given that there are  Russian peacekeepers, etc. ",  she said.

According to Zakharova, she can say the same about the CSTO. "We  consider the activities of this organization as effective and proven  at the highest level. Each country has its own rights and  opportunities to evaluate. We assess it this way," the representative  of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized.
