ArmInfo. In Minsk, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Defense of Belarus, Lieutenant-General Viktor Khrenin, a meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CSTO will take place on May 25.
According to the press service of the Organization, the meeting will be attended by CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov and Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov.
The meeting participants will discuss the regional challenges and threats to the collective military security of the CSTO member states, as well as issues of improving the crisis response system.
During the meeting, it is planned to consider documents related to the joint training of command and control bodies and formations of forces and means of the CSTO collective security system, military- technical cooperation, and others.
The CSTO includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
