ArmInfo.Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will meet next week in Moscow for talks. This was announced on May 19 by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
"Indeed, next week we will deal with the issues of Eurasian economic integration. We expect that Aliyev and Pashinyan will be in Moscow," the Kremlin spokesman said, Regnum IA reports. Peskov also said that the mass media will promptly inform about the meeting between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin stated that Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev would meet in Moscow. The diplomat drew attention to the fact that Russia is making active mediation efforts to establish peace in the South Caucasus.
