ArmInfo.The Czech Republic does not ignore all the problems and challenges facing Armenia. Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala stated at a joint press conference with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on May 4 in Prague.
"We are aware of the difficult political, security and geopolitical situation. We are concerned about the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, which was caused by the blockade of the Lachin corridor, and we are in solidarity with the EU on this issue>, Fiala said.
<Regarding the territorial integrity and discussions between Azerbaijan and Armenia, we attach importance to the fact that a peace treaty is signed that will be acceptable to all parties. From our discussions with the Prime Minister, I understood that Armenia is certainly interested in the prospects for strengthening stability and peace in the region. Armenia is very interested in finding a lasting solution>, the Czech Prime Minister said.
The Czech Prime Minister assured that Prague would make the necessary efforts on all international platforms so that Armenia could achieve a lasting peace.
