Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received the delegation of the French Development Agency (AFD-Agence Francaise de Developpement), headed by the Director of the AFD Regional Office for the South Caucasus, Raphael Jozan. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia, Ms. Anne Louyot.
According to the press service of the Deputy Prime Minister's Office, the interlocutors exchanged views on the current programs being implemented together with the AFD and discussed possible new areas of cooperation. The parties attached importance to the continuation of long-term cooperation in the field of water management.
Tigran Khachatryan noted that the Government highly appreciates the effective cooperation between Armenia and France. In this regard, he reaffirmed his commitment to expanding constructive mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of areas.
In turn, the representatives of the French Development Agency expressed their readiness to support the Republic of Armenia and improve the quality of the already established dialogue, creating prerequisites for long-term effective cooperation.
