Statement by French Foreign Ministry calling on Azerbaijan to  withdraw troops from Armenia`s sovereign territories causes hysteria  in Baku

"The fact that the French side does not call on Armenia, in  accordance with the tripartite Statement and the results of the  Prague meeting, in which the President of France also participated,  to respect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan,  does not require Armenia to withdraw its armed forces from  Azerbaijani territories, and also that that the French side  unilaterally declared the importance of respecting only the  territorial integrity of Armenia, is an example of its prejudiced  attitude towards our country," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said,  forgetting that the provocation took place on the internationally  recognized sovereign territory of Armenia, on the administrative  territory of the Tegh community, the area which the enemy forces  seized at the end of March of this year, as part of the policy of  creeping occupation of the territories of Armenia.

In conclusion, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry called on the French  side to refrain from such statements, "pushing Armenia to yet another  provocation, supporting the revanchist forces."

On April 11, near the village of Tegh, enemy forces attacked the  Armenian Armed Forces, which were carrying out engineering work in  this area. As a result of the provocation of the enemy, the Armenian  Armed Forces lost 4 servicemen, another 6 received bodily injuries of  varying degrees, the losses of the enemy are officially 3.
