ArmInfo.Using force to resolve disputes is unacceptable, the U.S. Department of State said in response to an inquiry by the VOA Armenian Service about the  deadly clash between the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan near  the village of Tegh in Armenia.

The U.S. State Department expressed its regret over Tuesday's deadly  clash between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces, which resulted in  several casualties, and extended condolences to the families of the  killed and injured

The conflict cannot be solved in a military way, and using force to  resolve disputes is unacceptable, and the only way to a lasting peace  is at the negotiating table, whereas the use of force disrupts  negotiations, the official statement reads.
