ArmInfo. The situation in the South Caucasus will be on the agenda of talks between Russian and Iranian foreign ministers Sergei Lavrov and Hossein Abdollahian in Moscow.
So, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, on March 29, talks between the two ministers will take place in Moscow.
"It is planned to discuss a wide range of issues on the international, regional and bilateral agenda. Particular attention is expected to be paid to the situation around the oint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). The state of affairs in and around Syria will also be considered.
The heads of the foreign ministries will "synchronize watches" on other topical regional issues, including the Caspian problems, the situation in Afghanistan, the Transcaucasus, the Persian Gulf zone, Yemen, and the Middle East settlement. It is planned to discuss the prospects for improving the situation in the Middle East in the light of the announced restoration of relations between our friendly Iran and Saudi Arabia," the Russian Foreign Ministry added.
