ArmInfo.Armenia did not obstruct the approval of the OSCE resolution, Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs told ArmInfo thereby refuting Azerbaijan's claims that Armenia obstructed the approval of an OSCE resolution condemning "the terrorist act against Azerbaijan's Embassy in Iran."
"Initially, in connection with the incident involving Azerbaijan's Embassy in Iran, Azerbaijan submitted a draft statement with a view of political speculations. Evidence thereof is that during the working discussions Azerbaijan did not provide any explanations or information, which would have been natura in a case like that," the statement reads.
After keeping the issue on the agenda for two months without providing any additional information, Azerbaijan removed it from the agenda without any explanations. After that, Azerbaijan organized leaked the information on closed procedures at the OSCE thereby distorting the real state of affairs.
"Azerbaijan's goal is to divert the international community's attention from its own gross violations of the international law and OSCE principles," the statement reads.
