ArmInfo. At a press conference on March 14, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan evaded a direct answer to the question of whether he sees Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan or not.
<The issue of security and rights of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh is on the agenda of the Republic of Armenia. What does not fit into this framework is that the beneficiary is the people of Nagorno-Karabakh. It doesn't matter what I see or what I don't see. What is important is what the people of Nagorno-Karabakh see, and whether the people of Nagorno-Karabakh have the opportunity to pursue the realization of their rights and ensure security under the conditions of the international mechanism. This is a very important detail," Pashinyan said.
Ashe said, the turning point in the negotiation process was that Nagorno-Karabakh was left out of the process. And in parallel with the strengthening of the voice of the RA, the role of the main beneficiary - the people of the NKR - was decreasing.
At the same time, Pashinyan gave a positive answer to the question that something compels him not to declare that Artsakh will never be part of Azerbaijan. "I am bound by many things: the security of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, the security of the Republic of Armenia, the security of the people of the Republic of Armenia, your security, the security of all, the sovereignty, independence of Armenia, the state interests of the Republic of Armenia, of course, I am bound," he said.
