ArmInfo. Moscow wants to know the fundamental approach  of Armenia on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

So, on January 27, during a weekly briefing, official representative  of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in response to a  question if there are any hidden agreements on the tripartite  statement of November 9, 2020, in response, asked, "what is the  position of the Armenian authorities on the fateful issue of the  Nagorno-Karabakh settlement? ".

"The inhabitants have long wanted to understand what is the official  position of the official authorities of Armenia on this matter. And  it, as it turns out, has not been formulated," Zakharova said.  According to her, when the fundamental approach is formulated, many  issues will become clear.

To the remark that the remarks of the head of the Russian Foreign  Ministry at the big press conference on January 18 indicate that  there are some agreements that are not mentioned in the statement of  November 9, Zakharova promised to clarify this. "But, let's not look  for any nuances there. Let's still wait for the formulation of the  fundamental approach on the most important issue. And when everyone  understands - the inhabitants, the parties involved - what is the  fundamental approach of the country's leadership on this issue, then  a lot will automatically become clear to everyone. In the meantime,  this is a topic that is often interpreted in different ways," the  official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry concluded.
