Armenian FM intends to participate in the Diplomatic Forum in  Antalya, as last year

ArmInfo. The lifting of Turkey's ban on cargo transportation with Armenia is a significant progress in the process of normalizing bilateral relations.  RA  Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan stated this on January 18  during the government hour in the RA National Assembly.

But, as the minister noted, there are still numerous other issues  requiring solutions, around which negotiations are underway. " We  hope that other agreements will be fulfilled," Mirzoyan said,  recalling that for a long time there have been no meetings between  the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey - NA Vice Speaker  Ruben Rubinyan and Ambassador Serdar Kilic, however, there have  already been held discussions and negotiations at the expert level.

The minister noted that, like last year, he received an invitation  from the Turkish Foreign Ministry to participate in the Diplomatic  Forum in Antalya. "Most likely, I will take part in it," said the  head of the foreign affairs department of the republic. 

It should be reminded that on July 1, the fourth meeting of Special  Representatives for the process of normalization of relations between  Armenia and Turkey, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia  Ruben Rubinyan and Ambassador Serdar Kilic took place in Vienna,  during which the parties agreed to ensure the possibility of crossing  the Armenian-Turkish land border for citizens of third countries  visiting Armenia and Turkey, respectively, and decided to start the  necessary processes in this direction.  Theyalso agreed on the  implementation of direct air transportation of goods between Armenia  and Turkey and decided to start the necessary processes in this  direction. In addition, other possible concrete steps that could be  taken to achieve the ultimate goal of full normalization between the  two countries were discussed.  The parties reiterated their agreement  to continue the normalization process without preconditions.
