ArmInfo. It is very important for Artsakh to assess the situation correctly, especially considering the problems existing in the republic . Armen Rustamyan, Mp from the "Armenia" opposition faction, told journalists on January 16.
According to him, in order to resolve the super-problem in Artsakh, all other issues should fade into the background. "Artsakh is at the forefront, and it is necessary that not a single step could affect the unity of the people," the MP said, pointing out the untimeliness of the demands and the holding of early presidential and parliamentary elections.
The MP called for uniting the working groups dealing with humanitarian issues. He recalled that such working groups operate in Armenia and Artsakh. "Our proposal is to form a single working group or council," the oppositionist believes, adding that a single body will help every Armenian know what to do to help his brothers and sisters living in Artsakh.
Recalling that the ARF has its own bodies in different countries, Rustamyan said that representatives of the Diaspora constantly ask how they can help, because they cannot wait and see how the Armenians of Artsakh live in such conditions. "We have stated that we need an official headquarters or council formed by the two sides, which will be located in the Artsakh's representation in Yerevan. So that it is in one place, so that everyone knows where to turn to provide assistance to Artsakh>, the oppositionist said. The headquarters, the MP continued, will provide information on what humanitarian problems exist in Artsakh and how they should be solved. "In other words, today there is a question of turning this whole process into a single whole," he explained and added that this issue is already being discussed in Artsakh.
The MP also raised the issue of sending an international fact-finding mission to Artsakh. According to him, such a mission should arrive in Artsakh as soon as possible. , Rustamyan said.
