Through mediation of ICRC, seriously ill 4-month-old baby was  transported to Armenia from Artsakh

ArmInfo. With the mediation and accompanied by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), a seriously ill 4-month-old child was transported to Armenia  from Artsakh. The Ministry of Health of Artsakh reports.

The child was diagnosed with visceral leishmaniasis. He was under the  supervision of doctors in the Arevik Medical Association.

Let's remind that on December 21, the European Court of Human Rights  considered the RA government's application to apply interim measures  against Azerbaijan. According to the Office of the Representative of  Armenia on International Legal Matters, the ECHR decided to oblige  Azerbaijan  to take all measures to ensure safe passage through the  "Lachin Corridor" for seriously ill and those stranded on the road  without shelter.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health of Artsakh reported that there are 13  children in the intensive care and neonatal department at the Arevik  Medical Association.

There were 9 patients in the intensive care unit at the "Republican  Medical Center", 1 of whom died due to the inability to receive the  necessary assistance due to the blockade of Artsakh.
