


ArmInfo.The U.N. Security Council will discuss the situation in Artsakh.
"This morning (16 December), following the consultations on Libya, UNSC members will discuss the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh (Armenia - Azerbaijan) under 'any other business', at the request of the French Mission to the United Nations. No briefer is expected," a tweet by the Security Council Report reads.
"It is gratifying that the U.N. Security Council is discussing the Artsakh issue today. I hope the U.N. will pay greater attention to both short- and long-term solutions, thereby fulfilling its commitments and employing all the possible mechanisms," Artak Beglaryan, Advisor to the Artsakh State Minister, wrote in a Facebook post. Although it is a closed meeting, Mr Beglaryan welcomes the fact of the Artsakh problem being discussed at an international level.
