ArmInfo There is great concern in Nagorno-Karabakh regarding the blocking of the Lachin Corridor by the Azerbaijani side. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this on December 9 at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bishkek.
As Pashinyan emphasized, the agenda of the meeting with Vladimir Putin is very intense. "Unfortunately, the situation in our region remains tense. The main issue is, of course, the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement. We also see an increase in tension in Nagorno-Karabakh in the zone of responsibility of Russian peacekeepers. I am sure you are informed that the Lachin corridor was even closed recently and there are great concerns in Nagorno-Karabakh about this>, he said, expressing hope that during the meeting with President Putin it will be possible to discuss all important issues of regional security.
The Prime Minister also noted that today's meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council was constructive. In fact, the whole range of economic issues was discussed, he continued. "We have already talked about the growth of our mutual trade, which is really impressive. I hope that with the improvement of the mechanisms of the EAEU, it will be possible to maintain the momentum that has already been outlined," Nikol Pashinyan said
