ArmInfo.U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has urged Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan to "to sustain momentum on peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia."
"I urged Prime Minister Pashinyan to sustain momentum on peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia following the foreign ministers' talks in Washington on November 7. The United States remains committed to these efforts," he tweeted.
Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday held a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
The sides exchanged views on rapprochement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, particularly the Armenian and Azerbaijani FMs' meeting in Washington, D.C., on November 7 and the trilateral meeting that followed.
Mr Blinken stated his willingness to contribute to the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.
Armenia's premier highly appreciated Mr Blinken's efforts.
The sides agreed to continue discussing steps to enhance regional security and stability and solve humanitarian problems.
