Communications on territory of Armenia should be under the RA`s full  control, and Border Service of the Russian FSS should monitor the  implementation of agreements: Pashinyan

ArmInfo.The clear position of Russia with the wording of the need to withdraw Azerbaijani troops to positions as of May 11, 2021 is now important for Armenia. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a meeting with Russian  President Vladimir Putin on October 31 in Sochi.

The head of the Armenian Cabinet noted that the start of work on the  delimitation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, , should be preceded by  the creation of mechanisms to increase the level of security and  stability on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.

, he noted.

Regarding the unblocking of regional communications, Nikol Pashinyan  stated that Yerevan is interested in this. , he said.

And the essence of the issue, as Pashinyan explained, is as follows:  the communications that pass through the territory of Armenia should  be under the full control of Armenia and operated in accordance with  the legislation of Armenia. "The Border Service of the Federal  Security Service of Russia should monitor the implementation of the  abovementioned agreements," Pashinyan said.

The Prime Minister of Armenia also noted the importance of the  release and repatriation of all Armenian citizens held in Azerbaijan.  "Despite the fact that we discussed this issue with you dozens of  times and contrary to the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020,  the issue has not been resolved so far," he said.  Nikol Pashinyan  thanked the President of the Russian Federation for the efforts he is  making for peace, stability and security in the South Caucasus.
