ArmInfo.Comparing the two formulas for the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict (Russia and the West -  ed.  note), we see that the formula of the West will lead to the fact  that we will finally lose Artsakh. Former Minister of Defense of  Armenia Seyran Ohanyan expressed a similar opinion during a briefing  in the National Assembly.

To the remark of journalists that the Kremlin is promoting the issue  of a "corridor" through the territory of Armenia, Ohanyan objected,  noting that processes are underway to open roads and infrastructures.   The former defense minister noted that in reality neither the West  nor the Russian Federation are enemies of Armenia: "It's just that  our authorities should not put our country in the center of conflict  of interests."

Each country, he said, should be able to defend its borders on its  own, should be able to make appropriate decisions. In this regard,  Ohanyan stressed that the Republic of Armenia is able to protect its  borders on its own, but only if the government changes.

It should be noted that according to the information circulated in  the media, the Brussels formula for the settlement of relations  between Yerevan and Baku involves the transfer of Artsakh to  Azerbaijan. These messages are also seen in the messages of Western  leaders.

According to the source, the Russian settlement formula proposes to  "freeze" the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and assumes  only the settlement of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. It  is noted that the Russian version of the peace treaty provides for  the provision of transport links between Azerbaijan and its exclave  Nakhichevan, which will be controlled by Russian border guards.
