The foreign ministers of 27 EU countries agreed on a civilian mission to resolve problems on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan on Monday in Luxembourg. They decided to send up to 40 EU experts to the Armenian side of the border with Azerbaijan to monitor, analyze and report on the situation in the region. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, French leader Emmanuel Macron and President of the European Council Charles Michel, following talks in Prague on October 7, announced that the EU would send a mission to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
