ArmInfo.NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for South Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina met with Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan, APA reports.
"Good to meet in Brussels with Armen Grigoryan , Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia. We discussed the situation in the region & the status of talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan after Sunday's meeting of FM in Geneva. NATO supports the normalisation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan," Mr. Colomina wrote on Twitter.
During his visit, Mr Grigoryan held a meeting with the NATO's Deputy Permanent Representatives Committee (DPRC) the NATO Headquarters.
At the meeting, Armen Grigoryan presented the large-scale aggression by the Azerbaijani armed forces on September 13 and the occupation of Armenia's sovereign territory. He stressed that the international community must continue to demand that Azerbaijan immediately withdraw its troops from Armenia's sovereign territory.
Mr Grigoryan also presented the details of the humanitarian crisis and the damage to the civil infrastructure. He also spoke about the war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani armed forces.
