ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan notes the importance of ensuring information security. "Suspicious persons can pose a threat to the country's security with dubious information," he said at a Cabinet meeting on September 16, calling on the NSS to be vigilant.
"Any attempt to disrupt the work of the Armed Forces of Armenia must be suppressed in the most severe way, regardless of the motivation and emotional state of the persons disseminating such information," he added. No status should allow anyone to act outside the law, Pashinyan added.
According to him, the RA had such cases during the 44-day war, and after that, intensive investigations are underway on these cases, there are court cases. We are talking about state security and the authorities are not ready to make any compromises in this matter, he said. "We expect very specific methods and measures from our law enforcement system, the National Security Service, including the identification of cooperating persons, because this is, in fact, an agent network in Armenia," the prime minister emphasized. Noting that the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia has made great strides in identifying spy networks, Pashinyan, however, believes that the problems with spy networks in the RA have not yet been resolved and consistent work should be continued in this direction.
On September 13, at 00:05, Azerbaijani Armed Forces units began intensive shelling of Armenian positions from artillery and large-caliber guns in the direction of Sotk, Vardenis, Goris, Kapan, Artanish, Ishkhanasar using UAVs. On September 16, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Armenia's death toll as a result of Azerbaijan's aggression had risen to 135.
