ArmInfo.Producer Armen Grigoryan passed away.

On July 15, Grigoryan's condition worsened during the speech of his  lawyer Ruben Melikyan at the court session in the criminal case  initiated against him at the Kentron seat of the court of general  jurisdiction of Yerevan. Armen Grigoryan lost consciousness and fell  off his chair. It was not possible to bring him back to consciousness  and doctors were called. Later it became known that Grigoryan died.  

Former participant of "KVN", producer Armen Grigoryan was detained on  suspicion of inciting ethnic, racial or religious hatred. On May 17,  the National Security Service published one of Grigoryan's videos  from about a year ago, saying that Grigoryan in them publicly  humiliated the national dignity of the inhabitants of the Shirak and  Ararat valleys, questioning their ethnicity. The defense side stated  that the detention was politically motivated and a selective approach  was used against Grigoryan. Grigoryan was considered one of the most  pro-Russian public figures in Armenia.
