According to the source, an Israeli company carries out the work in the zone of the Armenian-Turkish border. Work has been underway for 20 days in the area of the cities of Akyaka and Kars. "On the agenda is the opening of Dogukap border crossings with roads and railways and Alijan - with a road", the newspaper writes. Earlier, Armenia and Turkey appointed their special representatives for the normalization of Armenian- Turkish relations. The first meeting of the Armenian and Turkish Special Representatives for Dialogue - Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan and an experienced diplomat, former Turkish Ambassador to the United States Serdar Kilic was held in Moscow on January 14. Their second meeting took place on February 24 in Vienna, and the third on May 3 in Vienna. During the fourth meeting held in Vienna on July 1, the parties agreed to ensure the possibility of crossing the Armenian-Turkish land border as quickly as possible for citizens of third countries visiting Armenia and Turkey, respectively. An agreement on the early start of direct air transportation of goods between Armenia and Turkey was also reached and a decision to start the necessary processes in this direction was made.
