"In the context of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries, Kara C. McDonald emphasized the US commitment to helping the Armenian people build a future based on shared democratic values," the US Embassy said in a statement.
At the same time, the diplomatic mission published photos from the meetings of Kara C. McDonald in Yerevan, from which it is clear that she held a meeting at the Ministry of Justice, at the RA MFA, met with a number of political forces of the RA with a pro-Western orientation (Aram Sargsyan, Mane Tandilyan, Tigran Khzmalyan, Levon Zurabyan ), as well as with representatives of civil society. It should be noted that the previous eveningaccording to the opposition bloc "Armenia", the representative of the US State Department, met with representatives of the "I have honor" and "Armenia" factions. Aram Vardevanyan, Anna Grigoryan, Gegham Manukyan and Taguhi Tovmasyan took part in the meeting.
It is noteworthy that, according to the same US Embassy in Armenia, a reception dedicated to "Pride Month" was held yesterday in Yerevan (Pride Month is celebrated by the global LGBT community in June, which is considered the month of pride for sexual minorities, ed. note).
According to the US diplomatic representation, US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy, Kara C. McDonald took part in the ceremony.
