ArmInfo.. This year, Yerevan residents' favorite festival, Yerevan Wine Days, was held in Armenia's capital June 3 to 5. Thirty-seven domestic producers presented over 200 wines at the festival.
Talking to ArmInfo, organizers of the event representing the EventToura company said that producers from all Armenian regions presented their products at the festival: visitors could taste wines from Areni (Vayots Dzor), Proshyan (Kotayk), Bambakashat (Armavir), Ijevan (Tavush), Ararat, Artsakh, etc.
Young winemakers, who participated in the festival for the first time, showed a most responsible approach. The EventToura team carried out preparatory work by consulting and supporting the beginners.
As to the sales, the organizers reported that the participants were satisfied with the amount of wine they could sell. Many businesses consider Yerevan Wine Days the best marketing instrument.
A total of 60,000 people visited the festival, with 25,000 visitors daily.
In an earlier interview with ArmInfo, Mary Badalyan, Co-Founder and Executive Director, Yerevan Wine Days, said that about 35,000 people visited the festival last year.
The Yerevan Wine Days has been held in Armenia since 2017.
