ArmInfo. The Armenian side remains committed to the implementation of the agreements. This is stated in the commentary of RA MFA Spokesperson Vahan Hunanyan in response to the Azerbaijani President's statement on the work of the Demarcation and Border Security Commission.
According to Hunanyan, accordingly, the Armenian side did not cancel or refuse any meeting.
" Within the framework of the agreements reached between the leaders of the two countries in Sochi and Brussels, the Armenian side continues to be ready to launch the work of the commissions," the representative of the Armenian Foreign Ministry summed up.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev accused Armenia of disrupting the agreed meeting of the working group on border delimitation. "Azerbaijan established a working group in a timely manner and was ready to send a delegation. This was agreed with the Armenian side. By the way, the Armenian Foreign Ministry proposed holding the first meeting along the border. Azerbaijan accepted this proposal, and we were ready to send a delegation. However, at the last moment, on April 29, Armenia canceled the agreed meeting. This is a disappointing issue," Aliyev said, adding that Armenia also refused the new date of the meeting proposed by Azerbaijan for May 7-11.
