ArmInfo. Baku and Tbilisi support each other's territorial integrity. Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili said this at a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
Pointing out that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev plays a special role in further strengthening the Azerbaijani-Georgian friendship, Darchiashvili assured that cooperation between the two countries will be further strengthened for the sake of prosperity.
"At the meeting with my counterpart, special attention was paid to the development of bilateral relations for the stable development of the region. We highly appreciated the projects of international importance Baku- Tbilisi-Kars and other projects that increase the attractiveness of our countries. Bilateral trade relations are also at a high level," noted the head of the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
Darchiashvili added that peace negotiations are ongoing for the development of the region. "We want to continue projects to achieve peace in the region. Together we can overcome these difficulties. The meetings held during the visit are important for strategic cooperation between our countries. Georgia is ready to contribute to the restoration of peace.
