ArmInfo. Removal of Armenia's Prime Minister is an urgent need, reads a statement by the 5165 Movement.
"Nikol Pashinyan, who is expertly accusing different people, groups and institutes of his own failures and crimes, is now seeking to justify his readiness to sign a document recognizing Artsakh part of Azerbaijan with false arguments about international pressure - the international community is allegedly forcing Armenia into agreeing to lower status for Artsakh. But the status the Armenian people chose for Artsakh is freedom and security, and lowering it is tantamount to genocide," the statement reads.
According to the 5165 Movement, after accusing "the former ones", as well as the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, ministers of defense, CSTO and other agencies, Pashinyan is not pointing to the international community.
"He keeps on intimidating the people with a new war if we do not sign a 'peace agreement'. Is he going to yield Syunik, Vaiots Dzor, Gegharkunik in case should there be a threat of war? We must realize that the problem is Nikol Pashinyan's criminal and incompetent leadership. So removing him is an urgent need. By removing his and uniting to save Artsakh and ensure Armenia's security, retaining our national dignity we will be able to promptly improve Armenia's defense capacity, implement foreign and domestic policy in our national interests, and no enemy will be able to dictate its will to us," the statement reads.
Speaking in Parliament on April 13, 2022, Armenia's premier said: "The international community is telling us straightforwardly now: being the world's only country refusing to recognize Turkey's ally Azerbaijan's territorial integrity is a great threat not only to Artsakh, but also to Armenia. The international community is telling us again now: request a lower status for Nagorno-Karabakh, and you will enjoy international unanimity on Armenia and Artsakh. Otherwise, we request you not to hope for us not because we are unwilling to help, but because we are unable to."
