Ukraine recalls ambassador from Georgia for consultations

ArmInfo. Ukraine recalls Ambassador Igor Dolgov from Georgia for consultations. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy states.

" For obstructing volunteers who want to help us, for their immoral  stance on sanctions," the Ukrainian leader said in a video message.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine is also recalling the ambassador for  consultations from Kyrgyzstan - because of the country's  justification of aggression against Ukraine.

Zelenskyy says that Ukrainian diplomats are now "implementing fair  and absolutely necessary decisions in relation to those countries  that have not kept their word and have violated international law."

After the start of the Russian operation in Ukraine, Georgian Prime  Minister Irakli Garibashvili said that Georgia, taking into account  the national interests of the country and the interests of the  people, does not plan to join the economic and financial sanctions of  the West against Russia. Because of this position, thousands of  citizens gathered in the center of Tbilisi, demanding his  resignation.

Yesterday, a group of volunteers from Georgia, with the assistance of  the Ukrainian Embassy, tried to take a charter flight from Tbilisi to  Poland to join the ranks of the Ukrainian army. The leader of the  anti- occupation movement, David Katsarava, told the Formula TV  channel that the Georgian government did not issue a landing permit  for the plane, on which the volunteers were supposed to fly to  Ukraine, Echo of the Caucasus reports.
