MFA: There are no citizens of Armenia among those affected by the  military operations on the territory of Ukraine

ArmInfo. According to the latest data from the Armenian embassy in Ukraine, there are no citizens of the Republic of Armenia among those affected by the  result of the military operations on the territory of Ukraine. Press  secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahan Hunanyan told  ArmInfo.

At the same time, he informed that the diplomatic missions of the  Republic of Armenia in Ukraine (the embassy in Kiev and the consulate  general in Odessa) are in touch with the citizens of Armenia who are  in the country and are constantly studying the situation. "Based on  the analysis of this information, decisions are made, the citizens of  Armenia are given appropriate instructions," he said.

Earlier it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin and  Chinese President Xi Jinping had a telephone conversation on Friday,  following which the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced that the  Russian leader was ready for negotiations with Kiev. "Russia is ready  to negotiate with Ukraine at a high level," the ministry quotes the  president.

It is noted that Putin outlined the history of the Ukrainian issue to  his Chinese counterpart, and also informed about the situation with  the course of the special operation. According to the Chinese Foreign  Ministry, Putin also said that the US and NATO have long ignored  Russia's legitimate security concerns, repeatedly violated their  obligations and continued to expand the alliance to the east. The  Chinese side also issued a statement that it supports the peaceful  settlement of the differences between Moscow and Kiev.  Today,  Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy offered the Russian leader to  "sit at the negotiating table to stop the bloodshed." It should be  noted that on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced  a special operation on the territory of Donbass. The West responded  by imposing tough sanctions on Russia.
