ArmInfo.The Russian and French Presidents, Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron, have discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
At a joint news conference following the bilateral meeting, the Russian president told reporters that the sides discussed a number of regional and international problems.
"In discussing the situation round Nagorno-Karabakh we pointed out the Russian peacekeepers' positive role in ensuring the ceasefire observation and a peaceful life. We re-affirmed the OSCE Minsk Group's important activities in solving the humanitarian and socio-economic problems in the region. The French president informed me of the results of a recent video conference with President of the European Council, Mr Michel, President of Azerbaijan and Prime Minister of Armenia," the Russian leader said.
