ArmInfo.The EU welcomed the release of eight Armenian prisoners of war by Azerbaijan.  

"We welcome the release of Armenian detainees by Azerbaijan. An important humanitarian gesture following the quadrilateral meeting last Friday  between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev,  Armenian Prime Minister  Nikol Pashinyan, French President Emmanuel Macron and President of  the European Council Charles Michel," the EU Special Representative  for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar wrote.

Earlier, the Armenian Foreign Ministry published the names of  servicemen returned from Azerbaijani captivity. According to the  media, some of them are servicemen captured on November 16, 2021  during another Azerbaijani provocation.
