According to him, the country's borders, which were closed 15 days ago due to the omicron strain of the coronavirus, are reopened, and citizens of neighboring countries can visit Iran by land. He also recalled that entry into the country is regulated by the relevant supervisory authority of the Ministry of Health of the country and for an unhindered visit to the country, it is enough to have a negative PCR test for coronavirus or a vaccination certificate.
Vahidi also added that for those countries where the epidemiological situation is under control, passenger flights have also been resumed. However, from some European countries, including the UK and France, the ban will remain, IRNA reports.
Earlier Iran closed its borders to neighboring countries, including Armenia.
