UNHCR to supervise return of displaced persons, refugees to  Nagorno-Karabakh

The internally displaced persons and refugees are returning to Nagorno-Karabakh and to the adjacent territories under the supervision of the UN High  Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Maria Zakharova, Spokesperson for  the Russian foreign office, told a news briefing on Thursday as she  commented on Armenian Premier Nikol Pashinyan`s statement that  Azerbaijanis that once resided in Nagorno-Karabakh must return there  and Yerevan does not dispute their right. 

"The answer to your question is in Point 7 of the statement by the  leaders of the three countries of November 9, 2020. 'The internally  displaced persons and refugees shall return to Nagorno-Karabakh and  to the adjacent territories under the supervision of the UN High  Commissioner for Refugees.' No further comments," she said.
