ArmInfo. The only resource of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, which allows him to somehow retain power, is the crisis of the elites. Political strategist Vigen Hakobyan expressed a similar opinion to ArmInfo.
"As of today this crisis in Armenia is very bangiblee, and in many issues it is this crisis that has a predetermining significance. We have an elite that raises questions and problems, but there is no elite capable of answering these questions and solving these problems. Or should I say - the elite, raising issues, turned out to be unable to solve them primarily due to the unwillingness or inability of the so called power elite to carry out their own functions, "he stressed. Commenting on the situation inside the society and its moods, the political strategist emphasized the presence of significant changes in them. In this light, referring to the results of local elections in the outgoing year, he noted the drop in Pashinyan's rating in the country to a minimum, and, of course, a significant, unprecedented weakness of power at the institutional level. In this light, Hakobyan stressed that the ruling party is still in power thanks to the still weak opposition. Moreover, the latter, in his opinion, is waiting for a convenient moment.
The political strategist views the latest online press conference of the Prime Minister on the results of the outgoing year and his refusal to speak in "live" format " as evidence of the latter's unwillingness to communicate with the public after the 44-day war and especially after its results, moreover, both in the form of real "live" communication with journalists, and in the form of virtual one.
"It is necessary to understand, and I think Pashinyan himself understands this very well that the early parliamentary elections this year did not bring political stability to the country. The reason is the impossibility of changes, especially the solution of the problems that arose as a result of Armenia's defeat in last year's war. At the same time, in fairness, it must be emphasized that there are still people in Armenian society who accept as dogma everything, no matter what Pashinyan says. Such people are indifferent to everything, including the fate of Artsakh, "the political strategist summed up.
