Andranik Kocharyan: There can be no foreign armed forces on the  sovereign territory of Armenia

ArmInfo.Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security of Armenia Andranik Kocharian also did not clarify the issue of the withdrawal of  Azerbaijani troops from the territory of Ishkhanasar in Syunik. 

During a briefing with journalists, the parliamentarian said that he  would follow the example of representatives of the Ministry of  Defense and would not answer the question "is this information true?"

"The Azerbaijanis had to leave our sovereign territory sooner or  later. And the sooner the better. There can be no foreign armed  forces on the sovereign territory of Armenia. There is information  about Ishkhanasar, but let's not talk about it, let's let our  military manage the situation, "he said.

It should be noted that today the media, referring to the information  received from the heads of rural communities, spread information that  Azerbaijani armed forces had left the territory of Ishkhanasar in  Syunik previously occupied by them. The Ministry of Defense neither  confirmed nor refuted such information, but limited itself to a call  to follow the official news feed of the country's defense department.
