ArmInfo.Iranian FM Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has welcomed a meeting of the Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders in Sochi, Russia as a step to overcome the regional crisis, Mehr reports.
On the sidelines of the of 15th ECO summit in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, the Iranian FM and his Azerbaijan counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov discussed issues of mutual interest.
Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian pointed out important bilateral political, economic and cultural cooperation as well as cooperation between mass media.
The sides discussed the current situation, including the Armenian-Azerbaijani-Russian meeting in Sochi, Russia, the statement signed as a result of the meeting, implementation of the trilateral statements and importance of cooperation in the 3+3 format.
