Armenian Defense Ministry: The situation on the eastern borders of  the country is tense

ArmInfo.As of 2:00pm, the situation on the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border continues to remain tense. This is stated in the message of the RA  Ministry of Defense.

"As already reported, the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces once  again provoked an attack on the Armenian positions located in this  direction. The enemy uses artillery, armored vehicles, firearms of  various calibers. The Armenian side took adequate actions. As a  result of the intense firefight, the enemy has losses of armored  vehicles, "the RA Ministry of Defense said.

It is worth noting that today, from the rostrum of the parliament, a  deputy from the ruling Civil Contract bloc Eduard Aghajanyan said  that the enemy, starting from May 12, occupied the sovereign  territories of the Republic of Armenia at a radius of 41 km in 11  districts.
