The secretary of the ruling faction has submitted a letter of  resignation: she possibly will be appointed head of the Shirak region

ArmInfo. Nazeli Baghdasaryan, secretary of the ruling Civil Contract faction, has written a letter of resignation, reported the press service of the National Assembly  of Armenia.

According to the rules of the National Assembly, if within one week  after the submission of his resignation a lawmaker withdraws his  resignation by a written statement, the Speaker of the Parliament  makes a statement about this, if he does not withdraw his  resignation, then a protocol is drawn up on the termination of his  powers, which is signed and announced by the chairman of the  parliament. From the moment of publication of the minutes, the letter  of resignation is considered accepted.

According to media reports, Baghdasaryan will be offered the post of  governor of Shirak region - she will replace the current governor  Hovhannes Harutyunyan, who lost the elections to the head of the  Gyumri community.
