ArmInfo. The RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MoESCS) refutes the media reports about the extension of the school autumn holidays by two weeks.
The message of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia emphasizes that this information does not correspond to reality.
"We ask the public to follow only the official news of the Ministry of Education and Science and check the accuracy of information on the escs.am website," the RA Ministry of Education and Science noted, urging the media to refrain from spreading disinformation and to check the information before its publication.
To recall, on October 25, on the recommendation of the RA Ministry of Health in connection with the unfavorable pandemic situation in the country and within the framework of the measures taken to counter and prevent coronavirus infection, the Ministry of Education and Science recommended to extend for one week - until November 7, the autumn holidays for pupils of grades 1-12 of general education, specialized and special schools operating according to standard curricula for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic years.
MoESCS also sent a circular letter to the directors of institutions of primary and secondary vocational education, who were instructed to organize the educational process remotely, for a period of two weeks, starting from October 26 this year.
