ArmInfo.Journalists Vasak Darbinyan and Varuzhan Olkinyan have been appointed members of the Council of Public Broadcaster of Armenia for a period of 6 years.
According to the official website of the government, the decision was signed by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on October 15.
Darbinyan graduated from the Faculty of Philology of the Yerevan State University. Since the 1980s he has been active in journalism.

The Council of the Public Broadcaster, according to the Law on Audiovisual Media, is the body that provides management and supervision over the Public Broadcaster. The Board consists of 7 people - the chairman and 6 members. The members of the Council are appointed by the Prime Minister on a competitive basis for a period of 6 years.
