ArmInfo. France supports the efforts of the parties to ensure the safety of people in the region. Ambassador of France to Armenia Anne Louyot wrote about this in her microblog on Twitter after visiting the military pantheon "Yerablur"
"In Yerablur, I paid tribute to the memory of the fallen students of the French University in Armenia Foundation (Fondation Universite Francaise en Armenie ), and all those who died in the battles. I express my deep condolences to the families and friends of the fallen soldiers. France supports the efforts of the parties to ensure the safety of people in the region," she wrote.
The Yerablur military pantheon is a military cemetery located on the top of a hill on the outskirts of Yerevan. Heroes of Armenia are buried on Yerablur, and since 1988, Armenian soldiers of the Karabakh war have been buried here.
To the left of the entrance to the pantheon there is a chapel, in front of which there is the Museum of Fallen Freedom Fighters, next to it is a monument to 39 soldiers of the Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia, then a monument to the missing freedom fighters. The pantheon contains the graves of the national heroes of Armenia Vazgen Sargsyan, Jivan Abrahamyan, Monte Melkonyan, warriors of the Nagorno-Karabakh war and many other prominent Armenians.
